Flexible Dieting 101

YES I ate this whole pizza and enjoyed this ice cold Willies Superbrew to the face...... and later in that week I ate pretty much another whole pie as well lol (that was unintentional but flexible dieting leaves optimal room for errors stemming from:
* Mary J Blige Break-ups and pints of ice cream
* Birthday Party Tequila Infused nights
* Grandmas legendary pasta recipe
* Having minimal time to meal prep and or no cooking skills

For starters, FLEXIBLE DIETING IS THE KEY! So yes it WORKS! I think the term diet in fact should be stripped from it because a diet refers to a quick fix or eating regiment that you only plan to adhere to reach a certain goal. A diet is what I do to get in bodybuilding shape. Strict, mundane, stressful, and NOT a long term solution.

Furthermore diets can be quite discouraging for people who have self-esteem or confidence issues. It can trigger unhealthy behaviors. Being told to NEVER have pizza or wine or NEVER to overeat at a cookout every now and then has to be the most unrealistic concept ever.
So my aka for it is a “Flexible Eating Lifestyle”

The flexible eating lifestyle allows you to eat what you like in certain context. I don’t agree with the IIFYM (If it fits your macros) concept. Which means basically if my caloric intake is 1800 and I eat two chili cheese hot dogs and drink a soda amounting to 1800 calories your gucci? Naaahhhhhh, or the fact that you HAVE to be keto, you HAVE to be Vegan, or you HAVE intermittent fast. Once again those are all great tools but integrating them in a way that fits your life is the key. I’ll touch on those in the exploration of “The 6 Tenements of Flexible dieting”
